Loveapple

Loveapple is owned by Carnarvon growers who co-ordinate the planting, packing, marketing and logistics of local fresh produce.

The not-for-profit organisation takes its name from the moniker given to tomatoes when they were first brought to Europe in 1523. Kept as ornamental plants, they were known as the love apple.

By consolidating the produce of up to 15 growers, Loveapple is able to provide a wide range of produce, sorted to select requirements. This means our direct buyers can access a more consistent supply in terms of quality (size, colour, shape), volume (pallet lots) and frequency. During the growing season, we plant, grow, pick, pack and transport the following fruit and vegetables:

  • Basil
  • Beans
  • Capsicum
  • Chilli
  • Cucumber
  • Eggplant
  • Melons
  • Paprika
  • Pumpkin
  • Squash
  • Table grapes
  • Tomato
  • Zucchini
