Poach Pear

Poach Pear is an artisan food producer creating a range of handcrafted charcuterie including pate, terrine and rillette.

With the resurgence of "nose-to-tail" eating and honest food from local sustainable sources, we are proud to be a small batch producer using classic techniques, with locally grown produce and free-range meats, wherever possible, to ensure premium quality and taste.

Poach Pear Pate
Poach Pear pates are beautiful and silky with distinct flavours, made using traditional French methods from free-range ingredients, whenever possible. Sold in reusable glass jars, simply open the lid and serve on a wooden board with Poach Pear toasts or fresh baguette. Poach Pear pates are great for picnics, lunch platters, add to cheese plates along with our delicious terrines, or serve as an entree. 

Poach Pear Terrine
Poach Pear offers a range of classic terrines made with flair and lots of love. Using locally sourced products, our terrines taste delicious. So easy to serve, simply open the pack and place on your wooden board with Poach Pear toasts or fresh baguette and your favourite condiment.  Ideal as an entrée or light meal.

Poach Pear Rillette
A slow cooked shredded potted meat with juniper and thyme, the rillete has a unique balance of taste and texture. Serve at room temperature to allow the flavours to come through.  Serve with Poach Pear toasts or sourdough on your charcuterie board, or as an entrée with a simple green salad and cornichons.
