WA's Celebrity Signature Dish 2017
WA’s best-known cooking competition is back but with a twist, as four celebrities enter the mix to see which dish will be crowned WA’s Celebrity Signature Dish for 2017. Presented by the Department of Agriculture and Food’s Buy West Eat Best program; following the success of their 2014 and 2015 campaigns, Buy West Eat Best will be extending their search beyond amateur cooks, seeking to find WA’s best Celebrity Signature Dish.
Buy West Eat Best and WA Day have partnered to promote and launch the competition billed as a feature event during the WA Day Festival weekend program of activity. Four of WA’s leading media, lifestyle and sporting personalities have been chosen to compete in a 60 minute cook-off to be held on Centre Stage at the 2017 WA Day Festival to determine the winner. Each celebrity contestant will represent one of the State’s four major food producing regions including the Kimberley, Peel, Southern Forests and Swan Valley; and will prepare and cook a dish that represents the flavours of our State on a plate using the best of WA produce.
The cook-off event celebrity talent, partner chef and regions include:
