How to

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
2. Using an electric mixer, beat egg whites until soft peaks are formed
3. Gradually add sugar
4. Beat for an additional 5 minutes once all the sugar has been added
5. Add egg yolks and vanilla essence and beat until blended
6. Gradually add sifted plain flour
7. Place spoon fulls of mixture onto baking trays lined with baking paper
8. Bake for 7 minutes or until golden brown
9. Leave to cool before removing from trays
