Fig and honey baked camembert

How to


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Place the cheese in the middle of a baking tray and stick three of the thyme springs through the rind in the centre of the cheese.
  3. Scatter quartered figs and the walnuts around the cheese. Drizzle the honey and balsamic vinegar over the top and scatter the thyme leaves stripped from the remaining sprigs.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until the figs are golden and the cheese starts to melt.
  5. Serve warm with lavosh crackers or other crispbread.

  • 1 small camembert cheese
  • 5 ripe figs
  • 5 sprigs thyme
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp walnuts
