Spiced Gingernut Biscuits

How to

1. Preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan forced.
2. Sift all dry ingredients.
3. Melt butter and golden syrup. Add to flour mix and combine gently.
4. Add egg and bring together.
5. Once combined, roll out onto a floured surface and roll to 1.5cm thickness.
6. Use cookie cutters to make shapes.
7. Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
8. Cool and dust with icing sugar.
