1. Place the oats, water and milk in a saucepan.
2. Cook over a medium heat, while stirring, for 10 minutes or until cooked. Stir through sultanas.
3. Heat the grill and line a grill tray with foil.
4. Arrange the pear slices on the foil in a single layer.
5. Sprinkle with brown sugar and grill for 5 minutes or until the sugar bubbles.
6. Spoon the porridge into 4 bowls, top with slices of pear and sprinkle with pistachios.
7. Serve with extra brown sugar and drizzle with milk if desire
