Farmland Greens

Established in July 2000, the family-based Farmland Greens has become a major player in the local health food sector.

Farmland Greens' produce is usually harvested, packed and delivered on the same day, making it the ultimate fresh food. We use state-of-the-art hydroponic systems, enabling us to produce all year round.

Our products include:

Sprouts These are germinated edible seeds, such as beans, grains and nuts, that are eaten whole, with the seed, root and stem still attached. As a ‘living’ food, the enzymes in sprouts help our body digest nutrients and boost the life-giving activity in our body. Sprouts continue to grow vitamins after being harvested. Today, sprouts have become widely used, not just by trendy chefs and foodies, but by anyone who appreciates fresh, tasty food.

Shoots  Sprouted seeds are soaked in water, and allowed to germinate slightly. This young growth contains many essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals, as well as proteins and fibre. Seed shoots are allowed to grow beyond slight germination into young greens that are at their nutritional peak.

We also produce mini asparagus, baby corn, and croutons.
