Frozen breakfast smoothie
Method
(This recipe is from the Buy West Eat Best Mini Cookbook, adapted from our smoothie bowls recipe. You will need a blender.) Serves 1.
Place frozen fruit (and protein powder, if using) into a blender.
Blend until completely smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
If too thick, add a small splash of milk and blend briefly.
Pour into a glass for a smoothie, or into a bowl and add toppings for a more substantial option.
