Established in 1981, ACWA is a member-driven organisation working to provide industry leadership and cohesion in support of sustainable growth and innovation.
Members include growers of many different species, such as abalone, bivalve shellfish, coral and live rock lobster, marine and freshwater finfish, marron and yabbies.
While the Western Australian industry is relatively small by global standards, aquaculture is the world’s fastest growing food production sector, with huge potential for growth.
ACWA works closely with government to foster responsible development and opportunities across the State, from Esperance to the Kimberley.
