Established in 2019, the association works tirelessly to raise the profile of Mid West food and drink locally, nationally and overseas.
With growers, fishers and farmers who produce everything from canola to seafood and flour to rum, the Mid West is also home to a host of other food and drink businesses, including retail, wholesale and food safety.
MWFIA is helping to grow the region’s reputation as a food industry hub by:
- Connecting producers with each other, the supply chain and other key stakeholders
- Creating an economic benefit for the Mid West through recognition of the brand, increasing tourism, business opportunities and employment
- Becoming a professional and recognised champion for members to enable them to create sustainable businesses and leverage opportunities.
