Devoted Artisan Butter

Devoted Artisan Butter started as a family project — an opportunity to come together to create the finest products, using traditional craftsmanship and pure Western Australian ingredients.

Locally made in Jandakot using fresh West Australian cream and traditional techniques, Devoted Artisan Butter now includes natural and lightly salted butter, as well as Cornish salt, olive, lemon myrtle and seaweed.

The range is made in small batches but is big on quality. Churning is a crucial stage in making good butter, and Devoted Artisan Butter carries on this age-old tradition, to separate the fat from the buttermilk.

As the butter is massaged, it concentrates the flavours and removes any remaining buttermilk. The texture silkens and softens.

The butter is then hand shaped using traditional butter paddles. No two butters are exact, with each having its own form and dimension. This approach makes it easier for us to customise sizes to suit individual needs.
