The Butter People

The Butter People make butter the way it used to be – traditionally churned from 100 percent natural ingredients for maximum flavour.

The Perth-based business was founded by self-declared “butter people”, Kylie and Kris, who are part of a growing community that want to know where our food comes from, who embrace natural ingredients and enjoy clean living.

When Kylie was unable to find butter that met her high standards, she set about creating one. The Butter People’s butter is completely natural, made from locally sourced ingredients and crafted to ensure the creamiest texture.

Rich in aroma and packed with flavour, The Butter People’s range also tastes divine and it’s not just them saying so – their Pure Butter and Salted Butter have been awarded Champion Butter, from the Dairy Industry Association of Australia and the Perth Royal Food Awards respectively.

Proud supporters of ethical and sustainable dairy farming, Kylie and Kris only source their cream from the happiest grass-fed cows at Bannister Downs Dairy, so you can be assured you’re looking after the environment as well as your palate when you try The Butter People.

The salted butter is also garnished with the finest WA lake salt, while the spreadable butter uses local certified organic olive oil.

It’s all packaged in kraft paper, which is biodegradable and compostable, breaking down within four to six weeks.

You can find The Butter People at specialty stores, the Manning Farmers Market, bundle with meal prep and food delivery boxes, or have your butter delivered weekly via their online store.
