Lake Deborah Salt

Lake Deborah Salt comes from an ancient place so remote it is untouched by man-made pollutants – and you can taste the difference.

The salt’s unique flavour-enhancing properties come courtesy of its five-million-year-old namesake near Koolyanobbing, about 400km north-east of Perth.

Lake Deborah forms a fresh layer of salt crystals every year, which is harvested responsibly, screened, dried and packaged in 100 percent biodegradable bags.

Rich in calcium, magnesium and potassium, Lake Deborah Salt’s distinct taste has made it a favourite with chefs and home cooks.

While the family behind this flavour-packed salt may not go back as far as the lake, they do have deep salty roots.

Arthur, Jack and George Lister started harvesting salt in 1944, doing it the hard way – hand-shoveling it into horse-drawn buggies.

Times may have changed but the commitment to quality and the environment has not. Proudly produced by WA Salt Group, Lake Deborah Pure Lake Salt is carefully graded to ensure the highest quality.

It can be bought at a variety of stockists in a range of package sizes or in a grinder, or ordered direct online.
