Lupin dip
Method
Serves 8 on a mezze platter. (This recipe has kindly been provided by The Lupin Co.)
Add lupin flakes to 3 cups of hot water and bring to the boil. Boil for 3 minutes, then strain.
Place lupin flakes into a food processor with remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
You may need to add up to a quarter of a cup of water to achieve a creamy consistency.
Dip will thicken on standing; if you feel it is too thick, add extra water and blend.

This tastes just like hummus but swapping lupin flakes for chickpeas reduce the kilojoule content by more than 50 percent.
