Method

  1. Blend mango, banana, yogurt, milk and coconut milk until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into a serving bowl.
  3. Garnish with blueberries, pineapple chunks, mango slices, banana slices, and granola and serve immediately.

Slice and freeze your mango and banana overnight before making this recipe, as frozen fruit creates a smoother smoothie. It’s a great way to make the most of fruit like mangoes at the height of their season, as you can buy and freeze when they are at their best and cheapest.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup frozen mango cubes
  • ½ cup frozen banana slices
  • ¼ cup natural yogurt
  • ¼ cup full cream milk

Topping Suggestions

  • ¼ cup fresh blueberries
  • ¼ cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 mango cheek, sliced
  • 1 sliced banana
  • ¼ cup granola 
  • Toasted walnuts
