Their pigs spend their days foraging, sunbathing and socialising on the Cranbrook farm, and their chooks are similarly given the freedom to roam.
Since immigrating from the UK in 2006, Colin and Beau Food have had four children, making Albany Farm Fresh Foods a truly family affair.
A pig farmer from Shropshire in the UK, Colin helped set up 10 free-range piggeries in the Great Southern before the family branched out on their own in 2016.
They bought Albany Farm Fresh Eggs in 2018 and launched Frankland River Pork, which they are proud to supply to Buy West Eat Best member Ryan’s Quality Meats, in 2021.
