Delroy Orchards

The quality of the fruit grown at this family orchard near Pemberton reflects the hard work and passion behind every bite.

Russell and Jenny Delroy planted their first avocado trees on their property in 1988, alongside kiwifruit and tamarillos, and have been perfecting their produce ever since. So much so, the family developed their own brand, Delcado – a mesh of Delroy and avocado, naturally.

The Delcado not only represents the journey from five hectares to 340 hectares – and about 190,000 avocado trees – in the pristine Southern Forests, but the family’s commitment to quality.

With all three children now involved in the business, the Delroys take their work very seriously. They invested in cutting edge technology to ensure they have complete control over their produce before it is picked, packed, ripened, stored and transported at the ideal temperature.

They want to ensure when you pick up Delcados in your local grocer or supermarket, you are getting the best. And the same goes for their kiwifruit and tamarillos.  Taste the difference yourselves.
