Margaret River Producers Association

The Margaret River Producers Association (MRPA) was formed in 2001 by the region’s farmers, food producers and food heroes.

The not-for-profit organisation aims to encourage and promote purity and freshness in the growing, breeding, production and manufacture of produce in the region.

One of the ways to do this is to ensure confidence in the authenticity of produce customers are buying.

The MRPA’s Margaret River Produce brand accreditation program provides a solid basis of quality, integrity and fairness to all consumers. It advocates best practice and celebrates the work of genuine farmers and specialty makers of the region. The program ensures the credibility of participants in a transparent process. 

The MRPA is also passionate about making Margaret River Produce known locally, nationally and internationally. One of its major activities is the beloved Margaret River Farmers’ Market, an award-winning feast of food and drink held every Saturday at the TAFE campus.
