Olives WA plays a crucial role in supporting the industry in many ways, including:
- Advocating on behalf of the olive industry
- Promoting the industry
- Coordinating educational activities to improve the quality of olive products
- Identifying and championing research and development priorities
- Building an online university for growers that offers current techniques, marketing ideas, and contacts for development and improvement
Olives WA also administers the annual WA Olive Awards, which showcase and celebrate the State’s premium quality produce.
