The Galati brothers, Tony and Vince, have been working with fresh produce since they were kids, helping pick vegetables after school in their parents’ market garden in Spearwood.
The family opened the first Spudshed in a small shed on their Baldivis farm in November 1998. There are now 17 Spudshed fresh food markets in Perth and regional WA, including Mandurah and Northam.
Whilst Spudshed is best known for its large selection of farm-fresh fruit and vegetables at competitive prices, the stores also stock a full range of groceries, meat and dairy products.
With the third generation of Galatis now assisting their fathers across the business, Spudshed has built a reputation for quality at an affordable price.
