Established in 1983 by Rod and Shana Russell, Western Meat Packers is a family-owned and run beef processing company.

With an annual turnover of $150 million, Western Meat Packers employs 450 people across its Osborne Park processing and packing headquarters, Margaret River abattoir and Bibra Lake value-adding facility.

Although our company has grown and our market has extended, our cornerstone traditional values of customer and supplier loyalty have remained the same.

Our fully integrated services at Western Meat Packers Group (WMPG) offer the best of both worlds: our product is sourced and grown in the rich agricultural regions of Western Australia; while preparation, packing and logistical services are operated from state-of-the-art facilities close to the transport hubs and infrastructure of Perth.

WMPG has won several awards at the Perth Royal Show, which CEO Andrew Fuda said reflected the company’s commitment to offering a premium beef product sourced from one of the world’s premium clean and green food bowls. Our brands include Margaret River Fresh, Western Meat Packers and Perth Meat Export.
